Stampin' Up! Another Thank You greeting card

Here's an easy thank you card created using scrap pieces of Designer Series Paper and our retiring Mosaic punch. (Sorry to say, the 1/8" Taffeta ribbon is already sold out!)

A few notes:

  1. Although the mosaic shape usually makes me think of elegance, the pattern and color of the paper led me towards "cute" instead. Here I punched out 5 of the shape - 3 in the back and two popped up above the "join" of the others.
  2. An easy set of embellishments to add were these sweet flower shaped buttons; I chose to use the same colors as used in the card stock for easy coordination. I added a bit of Baker's twine to create a small bow and an additional touch of whimsy. All of the buttons were attached using Mini Glue Dots.
  3. The taffeta ribbon added just a bit more of the Old Olive - more easy coordination with the under layer of card stock and the stamped sentiment from Another Thank You. (This stamp set is carrying over to the next catalog, which is great because it contains "thank you" type sentiments in a variety of fonts and sizes. It's a great set to have around!)
