It's time for another "lets see how you can use it" with the Stamp Review Crew! This week, we're challenged to use Mixed Bunch and I believe you'll be happy with the ideas. Whether you are starting here or have just landed from Beth Beard's blog, welcome to my little page on the internet! I hope you will enjoy the projects I share here :)
For my first project, I thought I'd share a little gift idea. Whether you need teacher gifts or a little something for a co-worker or neighbor, this might do the trick.
To decorate this Tag a Bag Gift Box, I created a belly-band out of card stock and used a card sketch from Deconstructed Sketch to help me decorate. Although you can barely see it, one of the large flower-like images from this set was stamped onto the tissue paper holding the candles in the box. It was also used on a scrap of white card stock and punched out with a circle punch, creating the starburst looking image behind the ribbon knot.
This simple card uses one of the smaller images in the set. I stamped it with Basic Gray on the tag - stamping off once onto scrap paper before stamping on the tag. Then I stamped and heat embossed the same image on a scrap of paper and punched it out using our 1" Circle Punch. Along with the Silver Embossing Powder, a 1/8" Mini Brad adds a little sparkle. Need more sparkle? Check out the 1/8" Silver Taffeta ribbon at the top of the tag :)
Here's the completed set:
