Use It Tuesday - Designer Series Paper

Last week, I was in one of those moods that make me do random things like organize. This time, patterned paper was my target. First, I went through stacks of retired paper and sorted them into give and keep piles. The ones I decided to keep, I cut down to 6" x 6".

Why 6x6? I'm hoping this size will allow for a card front with some left over for additional layers.

Instead of letting my mood lead to further organizing in the laundry room, I decided to test my theory on the 6x6 size. After all, I couldn't suggest something to you without having tried it, could I?

  1. Great cards! So happy that you are using your retired papers. They are so pretty but get put aside after they retire. They need to see the light again!

  3. I wish hormones made me clean and organize, my house would be immaculate! I just eat more chocolate then get mad at myself...which makes me more depressed and I eat more chocolate. It's a nasty cycle that the candy companies just love!

  4. Lynn, we will just rephrase that to say that you help support the economy when the hormones get to you ;)

  6. I recognize all that paper from a certain box in my craft room. Great job putting some of that lonely stuff to work. :)

  7. HAHAHAHAHA! My synthetic hormones don't work like that for me!
I tend to hold onto lots of 'stuff' too. I give them away to a neice who is not financially well off, but loves to paper-craft and stamp. Who knows, perhaps a future demonstrator!!!
