Use It Tuesday - Different ways to use ribbon on your greeting cards

Welcome back for another Use It Tuesday! If you missed last week's intro, Use It Tuesday was born of a need to use up retired supplies. There is often a lot of focus on newly released items (and rightly so); however, what about those goodies that we already have on-hand? Let's Use It!
Today's projects all use our retired Pigtails Ribbon Originals. This package came with two different styles of ribbon: Pumpkin Pie ric-rac ribbon and wide Kiwi Kiss grosgrain with white dots. Very attractive ribbon, but since it was not easy to tie across a card it got pushed aside. Silly me - this ribbon is so much fun!
Now, let's take a look at each of the projects. Starting with the tag, goal one was to make a ribbon flower. This could easily be done with any wide ribbon or even strips of fabric. (There is a link below for the how-to...)
Another way to create a fabric flower is by adhering ribbon around the back edge of a punched circle. This was so cute that the card didn't need much else!
And if you don't want to deal with flowers, attach some simple loops to the back of one of your layers!
I hope that you have been inspired to use some of your ribbon today. If you would like how-to information making the above ribbon flowers, click here to view step-by-step pictures. And please pardon me for not including them here - I didn't want to make this post ridiculously long or make it difficult for readers on slower connections to access the projects!

Thanks for stopping by!
