Use It Tuesday - Dusty Durango

Today begins our first foray into Use It Tuesday. (If you missed yesterday's post and the reasoning behind this title,  you can scroll down to read it.)

This week I'm attempting to use up my stash of recently retired Dusty Durango card stock. Don't have any? Don't worry - this project could be completed with any color. Use what you have!

Here, 12x12 sheets of textured card stock were cut in half then run through the Big Shot with the Movers & Shapers die, creating tent-style cards with windows. The sentiment, stamped on the inside of the card, is visible through the window when the card is closed. A little decoration on the front, et voila! Thank You cards ready to go and a little dent in the supply stash!

Now - what do you have on-hand that needs a little lovin' attention? Get it out and use it up!
Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Great cards! I love the idea of "use it Tuesday"!

  2. These are very pretty!! Love the idea of your "use it Tuesday" challenge!

Also, just wanted to let you know that if you try my color outlining technique, you MAY have to add a dab of color to your blender pen if your image isn't allowing you to pull as much color off of it as you outline as you would like. It's super fun though!! :)

  3. What a great idea, and I am going to HAVE to CASE these cards for my OWH card part this Friday!

  4. Terrific card--and a terrific idea for puttin' the ol' stash to work!

  5. I love your cards! Just beautiful :)
