Stampin' Up! Greenhouse Gala Designer Series Paper and a sketch

It's Saturday! Phew - we made it!

If you are looking for an easy sketch to inspire your card-making this weekend, then you've come to the right place. I'm just one stop on the Utah Divas Int'l sketch hop. We're all linked together within our posts, but if you get a lost or a link doesn't want to work, you can check the UDI blog for the complete list of participants. If you've landed here from Carol's blog - Welcome! I don't have chocolate for you, but I do have a card to share ;)

Sketches like today's allow a lot of room for images or for that pretty decorative paper you have stashed. (It's time to use it!) This gorgeous print from our Greenhouse Gala Designer Series Paper serves as our background and as our focal image. The Daffodil Delight print is on one side of the paper, the floral image is on the other.

Cutting a second flower and adhering it directly over the first (with Stampin' Dimensionals) gives our main image some POP and helps the card come together with little fuss. A sentiment would also work on this card, but a monogram "M" lets me personalize it for the recipient. Lastly, some pearl stickers add a little extra something special and, because they are already mounted on a line of adhesive, they just peel and stick into place.

Well, thank you for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed my take on the sketch. And now, we're off to Australia to see what beautiful creation Alisa has in store for us today. Enjoy!
