This great card is one made by Deb Bryson, a demo in Harker Heights, TX. I was lucky enough to get one by taking part in a card swap over at Stampin' Addicts. (I know you've read their name here a lot lately... I'm lovin' the site!) This card is just fantastic in so many ways! The images from Season of Simple Grace, first of all, certainly remind me of what Christmas is really about. Her addition of color around the images on the main panel really grounds them, doesn't it?
The z-fold of the card allows for 3 different card faces; there's one you can't see in this picture that goes behind the shepherds. On it, she embossed the 3 Wise Men from this set in gold; however, this panel could also be used for your handwritten message.
Now, the main reason I was excited about sharing this card with you was the mosaic work on the left edge. Did you notice that right away like I did? The colorful card stock pieces (think: tile or stone) are surrounded by gold embossed "grout"; the entire piece is then sealed with clear embossing! You have to try this.... it is SO lovely in real life!
I hope you enjoyed this card and the lovely detailing in it; don't forget to check out her blog and see what else she has to share! If you leave a comment for her here, I'll be sure to pass it on!
