Today's sketch has a variation thrown in; we were also given a technique challenge along with the layout. Fun! If you are not familiar with the Shaving Cream technique, you can read my post from yesterday where I shared step-by-step instructions. (And stay tuned for news about an upcoming video!)
This is a fun way to make patterned paper and I had even more fun by including a new product from our upcoming Holiday Mini catalog - shimmer paint. Although it's next to impossible to capture in a picture, the paint gives a nice soft shimmer to the paper along with it's silvery color. (Guess that's where they got the name, huh? *grin*)
To finish the card I chose another item from the mini catalog, our Icicle rub-ons. The set includes white images as well, but I chose to use a few of the silver snowflakes and bird on a branch. I apologize that they are not showing up well in this picture; no matter how I fiddled with my lights I couldn't get the picture to take as clearly as I see it "in real life". Clicking on the picture to enlarge it should help a little, but I think this is one you'll just have to try so you can see it :) Thanks for stopping by!
