Happy Saturday! Thanks for stopping by to check my blog and for looking at my "take" on the UDI sketch challenge.
I really like this layout because it allowed me to use some of our great patterned paper (aka DSP) with out covering most of it. (You know... on some cards you only see a little of the edges poking out.) I think it shows nicely here but still lets your eye wander to the Bella background stamp (that's the one on the Pink Pirouette cardstock) and onto the main image as well. It didn't photograph as well as I'd hoped, but the main image was covered with versamark and iridescent ice embossing powder. It gives it a nice sparkle as well as dressing it up a little to go with the more elegant feel of the paper. A strip of artichoke card stock and moss taffeta ribbon finish off this card as well as balance the main image.
Thanks for stopping by! A
