On this first card, I couldn't really get it to work for me with the card base laid out horizontally - so I flipped it. And instead of using brads or eyelets to connect the ribbon, I just ran the rose red grosgrain into two of the holes and extended the white grosgrain to run the width of the card. When I was done, it still needed something "else". I looked through my stash and found some faux pearl lines and was able to use them across the white ribbon. I cut off two of the pearls and adhered one to the center of the flower and beside the sentiment. If you like the paper

Then I was playing around trying to stick more to the original layout and I almost made it. But at least I got to play with another new item, our Love You Much stamp set. I used our scallop punch and circle punches to cut out the different elements in the one stamp and then simply ran 3 strips of grosgrain across the card. Once again, I couldn't make the hardware (eyelets, brads) work for me, but that's okay. I'm sure I'll use them somewhere else.

Thanks Alicia, for letting me play along! And if you'd like to play - don't forget to check out the UDI blog on Saturdays for a different layout each week!
