Welcome to a blog hop by the Stamp Review Crew where we are sharing projects created using the ocean themed set, Seaside Shore. If you're already following the hop, that means you have just arrived from Ann's blog. Her projects are always so wonderfully detailed; a true gift to the eye! (If you're starting on my blog... welcome! You can follow the links at the bottom of each post to the other 9 stops.)
My first project uses just one image from the stamp set - the line of dots.
Yes, out of all those images I only chose one! Truth is, I'm working on a stack of cards to be donated to an organization that mails cards out to kids in hospitals. The cards need to mail easily and not include any embellishments that could cause harm. So, wanting to include birthday cards, I simply stamped the dots in rows using different ink colors from our Brights collection to imitate a brightly wrapped gift.
Next, I drew on the ribbon lines then added an image (from Happy Birthday Gorgeous) that looks like curly ribbon. The sentiment shared here is also from that set. Then to finish off the card, I tied a simple (albiet wonky) bow around the top-fold using white baker's twine and added a strip of washi tape across the bottom of the card.
This second project is a small tag and uses the colors that orginally came to mind when I saw this set - neutrals with blues and coral. It also uses the same sentiment from above.
This one's a little more layered, so for a closer look at the dimension…
Thanks for joining me on my little escape today! 😊 Now for the next stop, our super talented Tanya!
