Gift of Love watercolor greeting card

Happy Weekend!

Have you tried no-line coloring? This is where you use a light colored ink to stamp your image instead of using black. Using a light color allows the outline of the image to fade into your coloring, almost as if you had painted the image yourself. This is a fun technique, especially for people like me who can't draw! The flower image below, from a previous hostess set called Gift of Love, was stamped in Sahara Sand Classic Ink. Our Classic Inks are dye-based ink, so they blend right into your coloring.

sentiment Rose Wonder by Stampin' Up!

I love this sentiment from Rose Wonder. It's so encouraging and certainly lends itself to this "hug in an envelope" (aka card).
Sentiment is from our currently available Rose Wonder

Note: I've had questions about the supplies I use these days… Like many of you I am "shopping my stash" and using what I have on-hand. Where applicable, I'll link to any currently available Stampin' Up! products. These links are like compensated affiliate links, which means if you make a purchase I receive a small commission at no extra cost to you.
