Stampin' Up! Chalk Lines meets A Dozen Thoughts

I had the joy of making a batch of cards for some special college students who took over our church one week last month. This team of camp leaders from Chickfila taught and led over 350 kids from our community and blessed those of us who were fortunate enough to work with them to make it happen. Just before they left, we wanted to send each of these special people off with a note to let them know how much we appreciated their efforts and keep them encouraged during the next 5 camps they will complete this summer.

Many of the cards you have seen me post lately were created for these awesome people. To be honest, I didn't even get pictures of 80% of them! But I made sure I got a picture of this quick card created in case we needed something clean and simple. (You never know how young men are going to react to cards… haha). This is a design that you could easily turn into a dozen using the images in Chalk Lines and A Dozen Thoughts. (For details on these stamp sets, click on their images in the product list below.)

Here's a bird's eye view of how to stamp those diagonal lines. Using photopolymer stamps makes it easy to see where you are stamping, so you can just ink up and stamp! Here, I used the same stamp but with different colors. Easy, peasy (especially when it's stained - you can REALLY see where you are stamping)!
