Stamp Review Crew Kinda Eclectic

11.02.2014

Welcome to another great blog hop with The Stamp Review Crew!

Today's set,  Kinda Eclectic, is one Stampin' Up! gave us at convention (Yay!) so there are a lot of samples out there to get your creative juices flowing. But today you don't even have to go search for them. The SRC is bringing them right to you. Just enjoy the hop and I'm SURE you'll be inspired!

My first project is a CAS (clean and simple) card, just a little something that will mail easily and let someone know their kindness is appreciated. A little Silver Glimmer Paper dresses it up :)

Next is a 4-1/4" square card created using Retro Sketch #138 and our Sweet Taffy Designer Series Paper. I used Blendabilities to add color to our Jewel Basic Rhinestones.

The leaves were inked first in Daffodil Delight then the edges of the stamp were rolled in Old Olive. (Hand cut)
Last, here's a cute little box created using the Gift Box punch board. This is the smallest box listed on the board. (Finished size 1.75"x 1.75"x 1.75")

Stamp the small butterfly on vellum and adhere over the one stamped on card stock for extra dimension.
Extra image: here's the box before assembly… just wanted to show you what the stamping looked like - quick and easy, but cute!

The starburst image from this set is stamped onto the center (which becomes the bottom of the box), allowing the rays to extend just far enough to be seen on each side of the box. Then the small butterfly is stamped on each 'side'. This size butterfly coordinates with our Bitty Butterfly Punch, so it was easy to punch an extra out of vellum and let it fly!

Daffodil Delight Seam Binding and 1/4" Silver Taffeta ribbon finish off the box.

Here are the links to get you where you are going next; either way, you're sure to be impressed!
