Stampin' Up! Alphabet Rotary Stamp and Brayer Technique

Well helloooooo...

I had this card nearly finished today and couldn't figure out what embellishments to use. I saw this button in a drawer and realized that with our Alphabet rotary stamp I could make him say all sorts of corny things. Very tempting indeed. Instead, I left it a general hello with just a little twist. ;O)

If you are wondering about how to make the background, here are a few photos to help. Note the scrap grid paper masking the card front in the first and second photos. Begin by brayering on Pool Party from the top to just below center; then brayer Pear Pizzazz from the bottom up to where you stopped with the blue. Smoky Slate is sponged on where they meet.

Then stamp just the top of the tree to create the illusion of branches.

Remove the masks, then stamp the pine tree.
