The Stamp Review Crew Summer Silhouettes

Welcome to another edition of the Stamp Review Crew. Today we are showing off a beautiful stamp set called Summer Silhouettes. I hope that you are inspired by some of the ideas shared by our talented group. To start at the beginning of the hop or see a list of participants, click here to access the  SRC blog site.

My greeting card today was created for a special lady who opened up her home to a large group of college-age summer camp volunteers. We worked together to provide a homemade meal for them and also offer a dose of home while they are away from their own serving others. It was touching to see how much they enjoyed themselves and how much they appreciated the down-time.

The trellis, leaves and floral images in this stamp set reminded me of Penny's garden. I combined them with fresh vibrant colors to help her recharge ;)

  4. I like how you mixed the designer paper with the white background paper you made with the border stamp. They look like they go together. And you stamped the little flower center inside some of the circles on the designer paper - what a great idea and perfect way to tie it all together. Great job!
