Stampin' Up! Chalk Talk, Lines and Framelits

Stampin' Up! has a new stamp set to add to the "chalk" line up; Chalk Lines is a neat new border set with four different designs (see it below). Here, it's used along with our Chalk Talk stamp set and coordinating framelits!

The Blush Stampin' Blendabilities marker was used to add a bit of color to the pearl, making it a blush colored pearl instead of a vanilla-toned pearl. If you haven't tried it yet, you'll be happy to know that the ink dries quickly and does not wipe off. Isn't that a great way to extend the use of your embellishments?

Products used today:

Stamps: Chalk Talk, Chalk Lines
Project Colors: Blushing Bride, Soft Suede, Very Vanilla
Tools: Big Shot, Framelits - Chalk Talk, 1 1/4" circle punch, 1-3/8" circle punch
Embellishments: Jewel Basic Pearls, Stampin' Sponge
Stampin' Blendabilities (Skin Tone Collection)
Designer Series Paper (retired)
My favorite adhesives: Stampin' Dimensionals, Multipurpose Liquid Glue
Layout: PPA (Pals Paper Arts) #204

  1. This is a very pretty card. How did you create the Blushing Bride layer behind the Soft Suede die cut piece?

    1. The Blush layer was cut using the die in the framelits pack. The stamped layer above it was fussy cut (hand cut using scissors). The die was created to accommodate the stamp, but it leaves a border/margin around the image. I cut the border off of the stamped layer which allows you to see the other layer behind it.

  2. I'd like to know that too, Heather!
