Exprésate Unscripted Sketches 239

1.11.2014

Combine this week's Unscripted Sketches challenge with some of your favorite ribbon or paper scraps and you can have a good-looking' card in a jiffy!

My card came together with bits and pieces of coordinating patterned paper, a die cut bird and a simple sentiment. The sentiment 'que te mejores' is spanish for 'get well'.

The card looked like it needed a little something along the bottom, but I didn't really want to draw the eye away from the bird and panels of paper. What to do? In this case, a line of simple pierced dots was just enough detail to finish off the card and still keep it clean and simple. The line was easily created using a piercing guide (part of our Essentials Paper Piercing Pack) which contains a template long enough to go all the way across the card. Sweet!
