Season of Style Washi Tape Christmas Card

Earlier this week, I promised you a second version of the card we're creating in class today. (See the earlier post here.) I've gotta tell you that these cards are quick to make. That doesn't always matter, but somehow when I need to make a batch of cards, say like for Christmas, it's nice to have a good looking card that doesn't take hours to duplicate. And something really nice about the Washi tape is that you can easily lift and reposition it if you lay it down and it's not quite straight.

This card has the same layout as the one previously shared. However, this one was created with our Season of Style Washi Tape and two carryover items from last season: Framelits Ornaments Dies and Greetings of the Season (stamp set).

Now what do you think about the ornament? That lovely gold sheen you are seeing is another new product in the Holiday catalog - our Gold Foil Sheets. More of a silver girl? No worries, there's some for you, too! (The cut-out ornament is adhered inside the card, though you can't see it here.)

  2. The Washi tape looks very nice with the gold foil paper. I like the framelit cut out. I have seen cut out/punched images from Washi tape and they are really cute. Fun to put on the inside.

  3. You are all about the shimmer and shine this week, and I am lovin' it! I love the negative space use of the ornament die, and the rhinestones inside.

    1. Glad you approve, my friend! One note on the rhinestones, you really want to press them to get them to adhere to the gold paper. The little rhinestone kept wanting to move on me!
