Stampin' Up! Bordering on Romance

The flowers in our Bordering on Romance stamp set are incredibly versatile. They can be stamped and made a focal point but are also beautiful in the background. Recently while looking through a copy of Paper Crafts Magazine, I ran across a card that showed white embossed flowers on pastel card stock. Such a sweet look - I knew I had to give it a try!

The same floral image is used to create both the background and the focal point. Simple coloring, a corner punch and a heartfelt sentiment help to finish off the card. Of course, I couldn't resist adding the super-easy-to-use Jewels Basic Pearls for added detail. By the way, I labeled this as a "quick card" even though it involves embossing and coloring. It really did go quickly!

Card inspired by one created by Heidi Van Laar (shared in Paper Crafts magazine)
