Lovely as a Tree Christmas Card Challenge

The gals over at Stampin' Addicts have a bit of a challenge going on. The challenge is to create at least 4 Christmas (or Hanukkah) cards every month throughout the year. This way the season will arrive and we will actually be prepared to send out cards. Can you imagine? Being prepared?!

The following card is one from my batch for February. (details below)

  • The branches are actually the pine tree in the Lovely as a Tree stamp set
  • They are embossed with white embossing powder onto Whisper White card stock. Next, the entire layer was sponged with both Old Olive and Always Artichoke Classic Ink
  • The sentiment is stamped with Always Artichoke.
  • The tiny branch inked with both Always Artichoke (pine needles) and Chocolate Chip (pinecone).
  • The ornaments are small dots of Dazzling Details, just randomly applied for fun!

Aside from getting a creative boost, Stampin' Addicts is wonderful for the information shared. For example, Cindy recently shared a how-to video of Jennifer tying a beautiful double bow. See the video here. You will want to try it right away, I know I do!
