DivaSC165 Forest Festivities

Happy Weekend everyone! It's time for another sketch challenge with the Utah Divas and guess what? They let me design the sketches this month. That means they'll be easy (ha!!) so I hope you will play along with us. Well, with the calendar flipping over to December this past week, I figured it is time to get serious about finishing up some Christmas cards. I was tempted to use my Big Shot and the Northern Frost snowflake die to create a card that would look exactly like the sketch, but I haven't played with the Forest Festivities stamp set near enough so the idea you see below won out.  Hope you like it!

Some "in case you are wondering" notes:

• Old Olive card base, score 1/4" from each outside edge and from the center fold of the card.
• Stamp the same image three times; I used Real Red, Pacific Point and Old Olive Classic Ink.
• The Merry Christmas sentiment was stamped using Basic Black. It is from the same stamp set.
• For an extra touch, I added 2 Mini Jingle Bells tied onto White Baker's Twine. The ensemble is attached to the card base using 2 Glue Dots.

Easy, peasy - mac n cheesy. ;)
