Happy Weekend everyone! Ready for a sketch? Here is this weekend's Utah Divas sketch. Remember to stop by the blog for links to several other participating Divas. There are always a variety of styles and ideas represented - don't miss them!
Looking through some of my retired stash of materials, I ran across some printed window sheets. I haven't been able to use the last couple of pieces because they are just so pretty. We do not currently have any in the Idea Book & Catalog, but that's so silly of me - they are easy enough to make! So that's what I did - to get the look created here:
- Stamp the polka dot image (from Best Friends Forever) onto the card front. Here, I chose to use the same color ink and paper so it is Basic Gray Classic Ink on Basic Gray card stock. For a lighter look, consider using VersaMark ink.
- To create your clear panel, stamp the leaf image (also from BFF) with StazOn onto a 5" x 3 3/4" piece of Window Sheet. StazOn is rather sticky, so be prepared for the stamp to lightly stick to the window sheet. Just carefully pull them apart.
- Adhere your Window Sheet onto the card base with Snail adhesive. I applied the adhesive only where the vertical Basic Black strip was to be placed and a smidge behind where the 3 rhinestones are placed. I expected the adhesive to show more - you really have to turn it in the light just right to be able to see it. What a nice surprise!
