Hello Blossoms DivaSC138

Happy Weekend and welcome to sketch #138 with the Utah Divas!  If you would like to play along with this challenge, be sure to link to your project in a comment here or at the Utah Divas site so we can visit you and check it out! You can see more ideas by following the link provided below or at the Utah site.

This week, I turned the sketch on it's side to come up with this blingy example:

This Hello Blossoms stamp from the Summer Mini catalog is just so cute. Here, it is simply inked using Stampin' Write Markers and then stamped. I love the mix of colors and this way you can see the "hello" message in it's fun mixture of fonts. Other options might include topping the flowers with die cut/punched flowers, adding some bling to the center or maybe some embossing? It will be fun to see how many different ways we can use this stamp.

Decorating the card base is a length of organza ribbon that runs through a slit in the fold of the card. The ribbon runs through the inside of the card allowing you to tuck in photos or a gift card. The cut ends are tucked behind the main panel (on the front) to secure. For 2 additional samples made using this technique and to see how-to photo detail, see this previous post.

Thanks for stopping by! To see more ideas using this blog, please visit the UDI blog for a complete list of this week's participants. Enjoy!
