Noticing Coordinating Designs

I love how easy Stampin' Up! makes it for us to coordinate items and create pretty projects. I was one of those people who, when approached with an art project, would have assured you that I wasn't crafty. The very thought of taking different supplies, putting them together and making them look even remotely presentable was laughable.
Well, here I am six years later and I still laughing. But with crafty happiness! Granted, Stampin' Up! is doing the hard work designing these beautiful things but I have learned to use them :)
While planning a recent class, I realized that the design on the Finial Press embossing folder is similar to the design on our Greenhouse Gala Designer Series Paper. They are not exact, but instead contain a similar style and flow that work beautifully together. Here is a bumped up version of the card we created in class. Look at the swirls... so pretty!
