Often we need to create gifts for a group of people. Whether it be for a Bible study group or a classroom full of kids, we often comb our resources for an attractive gift that is also affordable.
This bookmark is an idea shared by Stampin' Up! at one of our conventions. It is made using a frame from our Hodgepodge Hardware kit, a stamped image, a ribbon and a button. For a more masculine feel, simply change the image and use a round button instead of the flower.
If you are familiar with our Hardware than you know that there is usually a little loop on both sides of the frame. This is where a brad or ribbon would go to attach the frame to your project. In this case, the artist at Stampin' Up! used Craft & Rubber scissors to cut one off (it would be on the top here). The bottom one stays in place so that you can run the ribbon through. Sewing the button onto the ribbon, through both folded layers, will hold the ribbon in place.
Thank you for stopping by today! I'll be back tomorrow with a Utah Divas sketch challenge and a fun holiday to celebrate.
