DivaSC111 A Cardinal Christmas

So it is officially after Thanksgiving now. You know what that means, right? No - not shopping in stores and fighting the crowds! I encourage escaping from the madness of life - not running towards it! What I meant is: It's time to finish up those holiday cards and get them in the mail! That's right....create, relaaaaax and prepare a "hug-in-an-envelope" for your loved ones!
Today's sketch with Utah Divas Int'l was so easy to work with. I hope you'll give it a try. Don't forget to follow the link below so that you can follow along in the hop and get a few ideas!

The stamp set used here, A Cardinal Christmas, has everything you need in one set. The cardinal image is gorgeous colored or simply stamped. It also includes the sentiment shown here along with a greeting and a separate leaf image. And for you digi people out there - guess what? This set was just released as a digital set. It is now available for only $1.95!! (Item # 123966) How's that for putting some Happy in your Holiday ?!
To create the background panel, the leaf was stamped repeatedly with So Saffron onto Very Vanilla card stock. All of the card stock panels and pieces were sponged along the edges to soften the edges and thereby soften the overall look of the card.
Now, let's take a look-see at what the other Divas have in store for us. To visit Alisa's blog, click here. To visit the Diva blog and see a list of all participating Divas, click here.
