So here's our sketch for today. Interesting, right? It will be fun to see how the other ladies interpreted it; it's always amazing to see how many different ideas can result from the same start!
I decided to turn this sketch into a fold out card. Here it is closed:
Good layout for sending a long note or for including pictures! Do you want to try it? Here's how it began:
- Cut a sheet of card stock 5 1/2" x 12".
- With the long side at the top of your trimmer, score at 4" and 8".
- Turn your card about a 1/4 turn, then a bit further. The 1st score line should rest in the cutting track. Tilt so that the top panel is completely to the left of the track, the third panel pokes out to the right of the track.
- Trim your card stock at this slant. The panel that remains complete is the back of the card (shown above to the right). Z-fold the remaining panels to complete the base of your card.
