Quick Butterfly Thank You Tags

In my blog post yesterday, I mentioned that I had used a die-cut butterfly that I had sitting on my desk. The project I'm showing you today is where that butterfly came from :)

I was blessed to have a workshop with a neighbor friend recently and her orders arrived this past week. I like to separate the orders out for my hostesses and also dress up each person's bag with a fun tag. This time, I used scraps of cardstock and trimmed the edges with our Scallop Edge Punch and stamped them with one of the phrases from our Flight of the Butterfly stamp set. Instead of stamping one of the butterflies from the set, I decided to use die-cuts from our exclusive Beautiful Butterflies die.

I wanted to give the wings of each butterfly a little lift, so I cut very small pieces of Stampin' Dimensionals and inserted a piece under each wing. The center of the butterfly is attached directly onto the card; so the wings tilt up from the center for a nice dimensional look. And finally, I dressed them up a little further with some clear rhinestones in the center.

Here are 3 of them - each made with different colored card bases and butterflies. What a fun way to say "Thanks!"
