Welcome to another Diva sketch challenge. I must warn you that I had too much fun with this one just because of the stamp set that I chose to use. I'm silly, I admit it. But it's good to have good, clean fun right? Right! Here we go...

I've wanted this set, That's Funny, since it was first unveiled with the release of our current catalog. I finally purchased it this month and I know I'm going to have a lot of fun with it!

My first opportunity to use it came with the layout for this week's sketch challenge at UDI. I kept it very simple and only turned the sketch on it's side. The card base is a 4-1/4" x 11" piece of chocolate chip card stock, scored at 5-1/2". It's layered with a piece of tangerine tango card stock on which I have just run across the top with our spotted jumbo wheel. (Instead of inserting a cartridge to ink the wheel, I just ran the wheel across the tangerine tango classic ink pad and picked up enough ink for one pass across the paper.) The peanuts are stamped with StazOn black onto Naturals Vanilla card stock layered on so saffron. Crystal effects makes their speech bubbles more... well bubbly. Then, instead of adding another layer of paper (to match the sketch better), I used my paper piercer and mat pack to pierce around the main image layers.
The phrase was also stamped with tangerine tango, but this time onto a scrap piece of vanilla card stock. It needed a little emphasis, so I added a small oval of chocolate chip underneath. (Punched from a scrap of paper with our small oval punch.)
And there you go... a fun card that I can't wait to send to someone who shares my sense of humor. Just gotta figure out who that is.... ;)
